Major Responsibilities

Covers a wide range of responsibilities needed for the flawless execution of incoming and outgoing materials within the company.

  • Effective inventory tracking for both inbound and outbound shipments at all 3rd Party Warehouses.
  • Enter orders into warehouses systems for both inbound shipment and outbound orders.
  • Follow-up on fulfilment of customers’ orders out of 3rd party locations.
  • Direct Customer Service and Sales on appropriate branch choice for customer orders.
  • Audit all warehousing invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Create necessary documentation, including but not limited to, SLIs, Packing list, Commercial invoices etc.
  • Coordinate pick up with domestic carriers.
  • Organize and keep all documentation related to quality inspections at warehouse, inbound receiving list, and PODs.
  • Ensure customer label requirements are met.
  • Track Ocean and Air shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate with Strato Forwarders, Brokers, and Carriers to ensure execution of instructions.
  • Communicate with suppliers and overseas Strato staff on shipment coordination.
  • Participate in forwarder, carrier and warehouse service reviews.
  • Other tasks as required by the Logistics Manager or Executive Team at Strato.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly customer focused.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must be good with Microsoft Excel.
  • 3-5 years experience in the area of Logistics within Import/Export Operations, Warehousing, Trucking and/or Forwarding.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
